We love hearing back from our customers and just this week we received this great Story about Tazer the wonder dog who recently lost mobility of his hind legs but has now regained mobility thanks to his new Walkin Wheels dog cart.
Thank you so much Andrew for the wheelchair! We hooked tazer up today. He immediately walked with it and pulled it around the grass. He went to the gate to go for a walk in it like he knew what it was for, so i grabbed the leash and away we went!.. he rolled it down the small incline driveway and onto the street - pulled . . . → Read More →

Window Mounted Cat Door
For years now you have been wanting a pet door to allow your companion the freedom to come and go at their leisure but have been restricted by the HOA or Strata not allowing any holes to be cut into walls and doors of any of the exterior structure.
I found this dilemma and frustration as well for many years until I found the solution which I had been right in front of me all this time.
But now was the challenge of finding someone to install the pet door into my glass window which in its . . . → Read More →

I know you either know someone or you even are that someone that may have a mud flap style pet flap that is great for a few months of the year but now with winter approaching your thinking like I was about those cold drafts that chill your feet and all that money you just spent on power heating your house which is now just floating out the pet flap.
After much reasearch we narrowed down the list of those expensive mud flap pet doors and what I mean by expensive is that those inexpensive pet flaps that seemed like a good deal on the shelf but then once installed they start to cost . . . → Read More →

Its been of late and especially on my recent family holiday that I noticed my own dog Bailey is getting older and showing signs of slowing down as he can no longer can jump into the back of my truck so he now has a pet ramp or even has the endurance he used to on those longer walks and has he has even become more stubborn and grumpy. So I have some helpful hints on how to handle the behavioural changes in your senior dog and what you can do to help them.
1. Eyesight – The eyesight will gradually get worse, so ensure your dog can understand all . . . → Read More →

During this time of playoff hockey, everyone is glued to their seats watching and hopefully cheering for the Canucks. Who by the way are doing very well! Of course, our pet friends have no idea what is happening except seeing us cheer at the goals being scored. We never mean to ignore them, they stand there vying for our attention to let them out. Maybe even interrupting our view of the game! Wouldn’t it be good to have some sort of invention to be able to let them out? Some form of automatic let out device? Well, there’s no robot who can open the door for them . . . → Read More →

Usually when people think of dogs, they think of an active animal who meets them at the door when they come home, harasses them to let them out to do their “duty” or doody as the case may be, perhaps one may even look at a dog as their own exercise program, to get them up off the couch and go for a walk or romp in the park.
Let’s for a moment think of an animal who is deprived of those types of activities, you can see it in their hairy faces that they are depressed because of their lost mobility due to age, disease or . . . → Read More →

So you think a pet door might be right for you? Well maybe it is but I am sure its definately the right thing for your pet so they may get outside to smell the flowers and maybe even water the flowers or lawn for you. This is a natural healthy thing they do, both for their mind and their body because as we all know keeping active keeps our minds and body in shape.
And also could you not go to the bathroom for 8-9 hours? I didn’t think so.
So a pet door is a wonderful addition for your pet to expand his or her horizons, while you . . . → Read More →

Wow who would have thought that dogs in wheelchairs would ever be common place? I’m sure you have seen them at the parks and trails getting around as if their legs were fully functioning. Just today I had the privilege of fitting Kubo, an integral and well loved family member regain full mobility with the use of his new wheelchair.
Kubo lost mobility after sustaining nerve damage in his left rear leg restricted his will to enjoy a long walk. A normally skittish Kubo took to his new cart with calm and confidence and like all new things, is taking time to regained mobility and . . . → Read More →
